zzzzz

Bleh >.<
So many days have passed and I still don't have anything REAL to blog about. Other people have either
-found a new footballer heartthrob or
-got a new haircut + been to the National Mathematics Olympiad + witnessed Ms. Ho's nearly falling down the stairs (!) or
-started a never-ending cycle of icon squee (...??)
Anyway...What's new?
1) LEE JULIN won the ELS singing competition!! (which is old news by now, but still...)
I'm so happy for her~ ^^
2) Yvonne has gone and CHOPPED OFF HER HAIR!!
(Yikes - after so many years of tender, loving, care?? How COULD you?!?)
3) I got 12th position in class - which is not very good - of course,
but is satisfactory ^^ (uh but Phaik Chern doesn't think so...me: pai seh, pai seh)
and good enough for me!
4) My Misha has gone for a jab (injection laa) today.
Poor her - she's so chicken for a dog - hope she's doing fine...
5) Pn. Yeon did some ear squats today - and I MISSED THEM ALL!
Because, ahem, I got Canteen Prefect's duty maaa.
Ahahahahahaha XD
-Signing off-

P.S.

Remember what I said about BM?? Oh, I didn't get 90 laa DUH. (Where got people can get 140/130 for Paper 1 eh?? Later teacher demerit me laa - she say I cheat in exam =X)
I got...71 instead! Am I happy?? Oh yes I am. Eh don't kutuk me la I know alot of other people got VERY HIGH wan. But I thought initially that I will get either 6x for 5x for BM k...I so scared tau. I happy enough la din get below 70...

Finally~

Yay...Guess what?? I got the subject prize for EST! But it's gonna be my first and last time d, because now Phaik Chern has joined us...and clearly that means that I WILL NOT BE getting it again next year. (To Phaik Chern: >.< ... XD)
Ahh. So people, congrats to me, as after this I won't have a similar post in the future!
Haih. Actually, I don't feel so proud of it ler.
Because...HL didn't take the paper.
Huey Fern didn't take the paper.
Phaik Chern didn't take the paper.
Who else?
Carmen (Chuah)...
Jolene...
Et cetera, et cetera...
And because, my marks not so high also. And Esther was just 2 marks away niaaa.
Sad la. I only got the prize...because the people who would have done better than me - DIDN'T SIT FOR THE PAPER. All of us know that if they did sit for the paper, I wouldn't have stood a chance. Oh well, lucky me then.
You know how it feels?? It's like having the love of your life say to you: The woman I love is not here. So I will marry you instead~
Ahahahahahaha. EST is NOT the love of my life. It's just...well, you get what I mean.
Anyway, I'm kinda happy. Because I've never gotten a single subject prize so far - in so many years of secondary schooling! (Primary got la. Primary time always get eh. XP)
So...^^
Oh yeah. Congrats to Hui Lynn (Yay! ALL HAIL HUI LYNN) - for getting a most amazing
98/100
for Chem!! (I doubt she will ever read this, but)
Darling you brilliant sangat laa. I'm sooo proud of you! ^^
I love you...but I love your brains more!! XP
Go Hui Lynn...!

WIFE vs. HUSBAND

Lol this is funny. Read on and see for yourself...
* Ahh Ee Vern said that this one very long time d...Nevermind laa; I don't wanna delete.
WIFE VS. HUSBAND
A couple drove down a country road for several miles, not saying a word. An earlier discussion had led to an argument and neither of them wanted to concede their position. As they passed a barnyard of mules, goats, and pigs, the husband asked sarcastically, 'Relatives of yours?'
'Yep,' the wife replied, 'in-laws.'
WORDS
A husband read an article to his wife about how many words women use a day...30 000 to a man's, 15 000. The wife replied, 'The reason has to be because we have to repeat everything to men'...The husband then turned to his wife and asked, 'What?'
CREATION
A man said to his wife one day, 'I don't know how you can be so stupid and so beautiful all at the same time.' The wife responded, 'Allow me to explain. God made me beautiful so you would be attracted to me; God made me stupid so I would be attracted to you!'
WHO DOES WHAT
A man and his wife were having an argument about who should brew the coffee each morning. The wife said, 'You should do it, because you get up first, and then we don't have to wait as long to get our coffee.' The husband said, ' You are in charge of cooking around here and you should do it, because that is your job, and I can just wait for my coffee.' Wife replies, 'No, you should do it, and besides, it is in the Bible that the man should do the coffee.' Husband replies, 'I can't believe that, show me.' So she fetched the Bible, and opened the New Testament and showed him at the top of several pages, that it indeed says...........'HEBREWS'
THE SILENT TREATMENT
A man and his wife were having some problems at home and were giving each other the silent treatment. Suddenly, the man realized that the next day, he would need his wife to wake him at 5:00 AM for an early morning business flight...Not wanting to be the first to break the silence (and LOSE), he wrote on a piece of paper, 'Please wake me at 5:00 AM.' He left it where he knew she would find it. The next morning, the man woke up, only to discover it was 9:00 AM and he had missed his flight. Furious, he was about to go and see why his wife hadn't awakened him, when he noticed a piece of paper by the bed. The paper said, 'It is 5:00 AM. Wake up.'

Men are not equipped for this kind of contest. God may have created man before woman, but there is always a rough draft before the masterpiece. XD

We're all gonna DIE...!!

Okay. Right now, what I'm actually doing is some online research for EST. We're supposed to scrutinize the ingredients of our everyday toiletries, and find out about the negative effects they bring us. This is just a really tiny part of what I've found so far.

Some of the most common hazardous ingredients are as follows -

1) Sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS)
Found in foaming products such as shampoos, hair conditioners, toothpastes and body washes...Strong detergent which can cause eye irritation and permanent damage to the eyes...When combined with other ingredients, can form nitrosamines, which are carcinogenic.
2) Alcohol/Isopropyl
Found in hair-colour rinses, body rubs, hand lotions, after shave lotions, fragrances...Can cause nausea, vomiting, headaches, flushing, depression...Dries skin and hair and creates cracks and fissures in the skin which encourage bacterial growth.
3) Formaldehyde
Commonly found in shower gels, deodorizers, disinfectants, germicides, and adhesives...An extremely potent carcinogen and respiratory irritant...Products containing this chemical should be considered unacceptable.
4) Phthalates
Commonly found in cosmetic and personal care products, especially nail polish, perfumes, hair sprays, and skin lotions, household cleaners and deodorizers...Effects of phthalates include damage to the liver and kidneys, birth defects, decreased sperm counts, testicular cancer, early breast development in girls and boys, and reduced male fertility.
5) Propylene glycol
Found in most forms of make-up, hair products, lotions, after-shave, deodorants, mouthwashes, toothpaste, and is even in food processing...Can cause liver and brain abnormalities besides kidney damage.
Apart from all that...Did you know??
1) OSHA discovered 884 toxic chemicals in common personal care products.
2) The American College of Toxicology reports that SLS (in shampoo) is easily absorbed into your skin and builds up in your heart, liver, lungs, and brain...even if you wash it right off after using it!
3) There is a proven significant trend towards the incidence of ALZHEIMER'S disease among long term users of ALUMINUM based anti-perspirants? They are even linking ALUMINUM to breast cancer, which is the leading killer for women under 40.
Bla, bla, bla...And the list just goes on and on. How depressing. Basically, YOUR SHAMPOO COULD POTENTIALY KILL YOU. Basically, everything that you use - other than shampoo; shower foam, powders, lotions, cosmetics - can all cause cancer, brain damage, cancer, eye damage, cancer, liver damage...Did I mention 'cancer'??
Bleh. No need to bathe d la. Bathe also can get cancer. Hmm. I was going to suggest just using water, but water also contains fluoride - which is a potential carcinogen (yes, FLUORIDE!). Okay from now on, don't bathe anymore...unless you want to die. XD

Sucky results...

Well, no, results are not really 'sucky', it's just my brain. Me and my brain... =(
Sejarah - 74 (-1 to A)
Biology - 71 (-4 to A)
P. Moral - 74 (-1 to A)
Physics - 74 (-1 to A)
* Physics officially got 84, but that's just because all the Physics results were sooo low, Ms. Chow got to +10 marks for all of us!! Wah she upset sia... =(
Ahh sad laa. What is all this B-so-close-to-A results?? Why, oh why?! Oh you reap what you sow...The books I 'reap' so little, so the results I 'sow' so little...Also, initial energy = final energy! XP
And to top it off, BM Paper 2(or is it 1??) - 75/110!! Oh kek sim. Most people got 8x, 9x...Ahh because I did so badly for my rumusan la. Only got 16 1/2 out of 30 tau. Just like I said...sucky. Huhu T_T.
To all teachers! I hereby announce, that from now on, ALL SUCKY RESULTS SHALL BE BANNED!! Ahahahahahaaha!! No more sucky results! Ban them, ban them all!! Those who present me with sucky results will be prosecuted. NO EXCEPTIONS. Yay...bravo~ ^^ Bleh!
Ah nevermind. I've done some calculations - if I can get 140/130 for the other paper (2x karangan! -diao-), I still can get 89.58 marks = 90 marks!! Yay...Yeah. Such an extremely comforting thought! JYJY ^^

Nothing to do

Wahh Maple lag sia...sienzzzz. Can't move for even 5 consecutive seconds!! >.<

Just watched Step Up 2 today. I know - it's been really long since the movie came out, but we just downloaded it. Anyway...it's really nice if you enjoy the dancing stuff, but other than that, not much of a storyline laa. Very stereotypical lo. But the dancing is GREAT. Geng sia~ Jealous eh. I see d my eyes like that >>> O.O

Oo ya the director of the MSA is very cute!! ^^

Haih...

Bleh. Overslept today so I didn't go for Ms. Lee's tuition... >.<
Hmm. Wasted about...RM65/8 = RM8.++ today. Ahh and she was teaching Circular Measure chapter today, the chapter that even all the gao-gao people don't understand. See now I got to self-learn or I will just perish and die.

Ahahahahahahah. Marvelously missed one period of Sejarah yesterday ^^ because we went for Pesta Music choir competition. We sang Jalur Gemilang and Where Is Love (from musical 'Oliver Twist'). Ahh the winners: Third place - MGS; Second place - Ping hwa/hua (ai not sure what the school is really called ler...) First place - SMJK Heng Ee...We knew it. We knew, even before they announced the winners, that we were not going to win anything. Huhu. T_T
I dunno. Jessica tells me that it's like that every year, and she didn't expect us to win anything this year too. Oh but the schools that won really deserved it! The songs they sang were sooo nice...Ai we can't achieve something like that la. Mainly because most of our members not very dedicated/serious. =X
Anyway it was great experinece listening to them sing! ^^ Yay I can't wait for next year's competition laa. See you people again...!

Yay...?

Ahh. Look! I've just found out how to change to font and it's size. ^^ Lol...I have a feeling that blogging can potentially drive me nuts...but I suppose that I will get used to it soon.

I have another problem. Hmm. Blogging...involves photography. LOTS of photography.
And I just:
1) don't like photography.
2) don't approve of the idea of carrying a camera around everywhere I go just to take pictures for my bloggie.

So I guess this will be a...photo-less blog. Or it could just be a blog with a minimal number of photos in it~! ^^

My First Post~

Testing...testing. Oh what am I supposed to be blogging about? I have just created my own blog and am wasting more than enough time pondering the contents of my first entry.
Seriously. How do people have SO much to talk aboout??

Oh well. I've never thought much about keeping diaries...and in a way, blogging is very much like keeping a diary - only difference being that a diary is supposed to be PERSONAL, and a blog...is a diary open for public viewing.

I really can't handle the HTML/CSS stuff or whatever you call it. So please forgive if I am not able to make you ooh and aah at my non-existent lovely layouts... ><
